Hi guys, i have a Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 remote start system and sometime this week i plan on installing it in my manual '00 GT-S. I'm wondering if theres anything else besides the alarm and necessary tools i'm gonna need to install the alarm sucessfully. Any previous experience on the matter would be very helpful!

You need to bypass the clutch so it thinks it's depressed when you start the car by remote. I still don't know how to do that, but it seems to be relatively easy? This also means you have to keep your car in neutral when turning off the car, otherwise the car will boost forward.

I recommend having side strippers. They will help you A LOT! If you're soldering, make sure you have a solder gun. Otherwise, get electrical tape...

Hope someone else can give the explanation for the clutch.
