clunking noise passenger strut:( help

So my right passenger strut makes this popping clunking bad sound. it was pretty subtle when it started but then after i jacked the car up for an oil change the clunking got worse. It only happens at low speeds below 30mph? i want to say. also turning the wheel doesn't affect the clunking. Anyways i just jacked it up to take pictures and it started doing it more often

I did research and the most common problems seemed to be either the top middle bolt or the endlinks. I checked the top bolt which was nice and tight. When i checked the endlinks, the top one didn't tighten. It just kept spinning. Think that may be the problem. The bottom of the endlink is fine.
Is it my endlink? blown strut? some other bolt that's loose? HELP PLEASE

Yah thats not going to tighten or loosen without an allen key and a 14mm openended wrench.
i don't really understand the problem. so I'm pretty sure its the endlink but whats wrong with it that requires fixing? Or does it need to be replaced?
If i had known it needed a wrench AND an allen key I would have done so. Maybe ill try tomorrow i guess.
Any other suggestions are appreciated!:D
So for anyone that cares or has a similar problem, I fixed the clunking by simply tightening the top endlink with a 9/16" wrench and a 5 or 6mm(cant remember which) allen key. If the problem proceeds I'll probably try putting on some loctite, and if all else fails I'll just replace them with the Powergrid endlinks that I've read so much about. THANKS:thumbup:
did you hear clapping on smaller bumps and then a big slam on deeper bumps? or an actual clunk that is noticeable.

nope, it was just a kind of popping, clunking. hard for me to explain. but it was barely noticeable at first then it started doing it more frequently and a bit louder. not much though. It didn't sound like metal on metal or like anything was breaking. It was more like it would keep popping into new positions. if that makes sense.
had the same problem. fixed it by using an allen wrench and open wrench to tighten it.
