Inner tire wear happens if u dont correct the toe and camber caused by lowering the car. Easily fixed with the rear camber kit made by Hotchkis. I got the front kit just to be safe.

Hey if I get the tein basics, will i run into any problems?
i've been reading as much as i could and I saw something about inner tire wear for the rear if you lower a celica, is this true?
o and would i notice better handling if i got coilovers and do a reasonable drop (not slammed, maybe like 1.5 front 1.74 rear, or something close)

No need for the Hotchkis camber links in the rear with my car dropped as low as it is. With the drop you want to go with, you shouldn't have too much worry about the front either.

ya clint quoted me close to 900 for the basics with shipping, so i'm guessing install well set me back to an even grand or maybe possibly 1100, gar i'm so tempted to get them right now, my bday is coming up in under a month and it'd be nice to have the car looking right, and my school's prom is coming up too!
