ah - its some sort of weird strut tower bar. I doubt it will fit properly.

FYI a connecting rod is an internal engine component.

The whole point of a strut power bar is to add stiffness to the front of the car - making it compressible would seem to defeat the point to me.

Almost looks like an engine damper, but it's connected to the strut towers?!? If it's a strut tower brace, I fail to see how it does it's job, isn't a strut bar supposed to stiffen the chassis? I fail to see how this setup would accomplish that, being a damper and all...
