I have been looking into getting either new control arms or just going the bushing/Whiteline way.

I was told from the dealership that the control arms are different. The service guy (one good Toyota employee) told me to bring my VIN# next time.

Also, if you check online, all places that sell control arms for a 2000 and up Celica give different part numbers or choices for late say 8-9/1999 and say 10/1999 and up.

I'm just curious on what the difference is if anyone knows?

No, I don't think that's right. I would like to believe so myself.

If Toyota is telling me bring my VIN next time because there is a difference in control arms and this type of site says the same which is linked to all the same sites:

replacement auto parts
