I just got my header today, and noticed that at the areas where the header at contact with the plastic bag it was in (inside the box), there seems to be black marks... there are also black marks in the metal on those portions of the header. I know it is only a ceramic coating, and if it gets worn out it might lead to rust. My question is, should I be concerned about the black marks?

Use a non-abrasive chrome/metal polish. It should rub right out.

If its any kind of half decent ceramic coating it shouldnt just rub off from being in a bag. If it is I would highly recomend you send it back for a new one.
