Hey has anyone done a hood scope delete? I know the celica's come stock with scopes but i think it would look cleaner without em...

Scoop. Don't know if anyone tried though. The scoop itself is functional so you might be creating some heat buildup on the firewall if you delete it and close the hole in the hood.

But to contribute to the thread, there was someone here who did a photoshop of what the celica would look like without the hoodscoop. Don't remember where it is though.

Hahaha my bad on the spelling xD

it just seems like my hood (veilside ff gt) would look cleaner without the scoop but if the scoop is actually functional then I'll keep it.

Yes - scoop is functional. It brings air down along the firewall to cool it off - the exhaust is right up against it and this keeps things from getting too hot under the dash and even in the tunnel to some extent.
