I have a 2000 GT, and after a long drive from California to Texas, I get a very distinctive scraping sound at 3500 rpms, in every gear, even in neutral. It only lasts for an instant, but it happens at the exact same point every time, at 3500 rpm.

I only arrived today in Texas, so I haven't had a chance to figure out where the sound is coming from, but it sounds like it's coming from somewhere in the engine bay.

Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks in advance.
