Alright, I already did a search and didn't see that anyone had posted a problem similar to this. Basically, my dome light works, but it doesn't work when I put it to the "door" setting so it comes on when the doors open up. It only works when you flip the switch to "on." WTF?! It can't be the bulb or the fuse, right? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could be a faulty door sensor.

Have you tried it with all the doors, or just the driver's door?

When you open a door, does the light on the dash come on?

I tried with both the passenger and driver's side doors and no luck. I'll check to see if the dash light comes up when i get home. Thanks for the reply.

BTW, I JUST got this car from a respectable Toyota dealership and it is Certified. I have the bumper to bumper warranty so whatever the problem it should be covered. It's just really annoying seeing is I've only had it for 1 day.
