how do you remove the leather pad just above the arm rest on the door panel?

are you talking about the pad on which ur arm rests on or the one on the side of your arm that is ilke a rounded long triangle?

You take a flat head screw driver and use it to pry it out. Its just glued to a faom backer.

You dont remove it. Its molded into the door panel. You can remove the material covering it, though (leather or fabric).

i have to remove it to make a fiberglass mold for custom panels. i want to re-use the pad and the armrest, door pull with the new panels. i think i'll just try separating it from the foam pad and re-using it too. thanks
