I put in a CAI about 9 months ago and finally read the bluebomber mod so I did that and everything fit good. When I put it all back in and started the engine it revs up to the idle and then quickly slows down then stalls out. If I rev up the gas it is responsive but then quickly goes down and stalls out. I was worried if water got in so I took out the spark plug and turned over the engine, nothing came out so I realized that's not the problem, I put it all back together and same result. are you sure all the hoses are connected?

Yeah they are, but just to make sure im right, for the CAI theres only the MAF sensor and one vacuum tube correct

Did you plug in you maf sensor securely?

By securely, I did the BB mod so it is back in the stock holder and its plugged nice and snug so yes i would say its secure

Did you install the MAF the right way?
Did you install the BB mod housing the right way?

Reset the ECM? It has to learn new idle data.

Do i need a programmer to reset the ECM or how do i go about that

unplug battery for 5-10 minutes or unplug the ECM fuse

Check the two hoses from the idle throttle control electro-valve. (&check if its power cable is still plugged)
