Hi,

Thought I would finally introduce myself. This is my 4th car.

1st was a 1996 Subaru Legacy L 2.2
2nd was a 1999 Subaru Legacy GT 2.5
3rd was a 2000 Volkswagen Golf 2.0

Now I have a 2002 Celica GT 5 speed. Bought with 110xxx original km on engine and tranny back in September.

The list of mods in order of sequence I put them on:
Compustar alarm+starter
Red tail overlays to cover the ugly orange
Black tints
Tein s-techs on stock struts
OEM fogs with yellow overlays
Plastidipped part of stock front lip black
DIY Home Depot lip
8000k HIDs
Invidia axleback
Ipod adapter
TRD shift knob
OEM TRD painted sideskirts and rear lip
Benen rear tow hook in red

Car is currently in winter mode with stockies. This is the most recent pic I have of it. Enjoy. (Excuse the crappy filtered cell phone pic, but its too cold to pull out my dslr. I shoot with a T1i with a Canon 50mm f/1.8 and a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8)

March 22nd: Got a new set of wheels for this season. Work CR-Kai 17x8 powdercoated Tiffany Blue with 225/45/17 Continental's

Still too cold to take pics with my dslr~

Any front shots? Looks like it needs a lip to line up with the TRD sides. Not really feelin those blue rims with that body color, but to each their own. Also, that door bumper strip looks terrible.

Other than these things, nice pickup. post up some larger process pics as you go... happy modding.

yeah agreed with him, i'm currently running kam skirts with no front lip on an 03 and my god it's awful, if i didn't run over my lip for the 6th time i'd put it on regardless of how it looked :chuckles:

but yeah, coilovers, remove that door bump thing, a nice greddy lip, and meh the wheel color is alright, but for a silver car it's off

I don't like any of the lips made for the pre face lift celicas, maybe the m2 lip.

My current front end is still lower than the side skirts, I'll get some shots next weekend. You do not understand how helpful those stupid bumper strips living downtown Toronto, but agreed, they are so ugly. The previous owner had them since he drove it off the dealership, but I'll get them removed when I detail the car.

Really? You have a stock 00-02 front bumper and it lines up with the bottom of the TRD sides? I've got to see better photos of how that works... I have never seen them line up without a lip, and it doesn't look like it from the side view.

IMHO bronze rims would look excellent on your car as it sits. Definitely drop it though.

As for the door bumpers... they look bad, but if you need them to protect the doors, you need them. What are your next plans for the car?

IF you can get a hold of them i would suggest a front lip like mine.
OEM Dynamic pack Lip. sits lower then stock (but not too much) and looks great IMO.

I agree with Ghost Dragon paint your rims bronze, your car would look so much cleaner. Far as the door bumpers, definitely get those things removed. They're hideous. :ugh: Also, I'd get an M2 lip and drop. You would be looking similar to this Celica with TRD sides/rear minus the carbon fiber hood.

I personally like the M2 lip for the preface lift models.

That's because it doesn't line up. It's not a terrible height difference but it would definitely look better with a lip.

I like the wheels, personally not a fan of the color and I would drop it a bit more but to each his own. Welcome to the boards man.

I like this!

I'll get some pics later, my front end is lower because of my current black HD lip. I also like the color of the rims, I'll look in to powdercoating it something else next year.

Not many plans next, possibly a front lip or trd wing. Whichever one shows up on Kijiji first lol. I'll be getting a Kawasaki Ninja soon :smoke:
