Exaust type and sound

Im from belgium, I Drive a GT 6-Speed celica ZZT230 for a couple of months now and im looking for a muffler (muffler=exaust?) for my car (only for the sound), because without it it sounds like a vacuum cleaner to me, my previous celica (model 1996) had the same problem. Im looking for a nice deep (loud) sound, if any of you guys have any experience with this? p.s. pardon my crappy english. greets.

Check out the APEXi N1 N/A universal muffler. You'll have to get custom piping from the axle back, but it sounds VERY deep and pretty loud.

muffler is one of the components of exhaust system.

well if you want a deep LOUD sound go with the kazuma exhaust..i have one now and it gives the celica a manly sound it will make it sound like vacuum cleaner with a jet engine on it

i like the tanabe super racing medallion its not to loud all the time but when you want it can be pretty loud

TRD, Sound is perfect. Not too loud. Much more respectable sound

go with TRD and then custom straight pipe it

:chuckles: You may find yourself quickly annoyed with the kazuma if your celica is a daily driver. The Trd with A intake (friend has AEM) sounds very nice. A pleasant scream and near quiet when he's not pushing it.

i have the Thermal Exhaust and it sounds awesome. not too loud but loud enough to scare people when you're rolling up next to them, hehe

What ive read here i think the TRD is not not loud enough and the kazuma to loud, i think im going for the apexi N1 muffler.

You asked...we told you. The TRD is not only the best PERFORMER, it sounds great also. If you want the one that sounds the best to you do yourself a favor and just punch a hole in your muffler with a screwdriver or go buy one of those neon ones from Pep Boys because then it will look riced out to match the sound. sheesh....talk about trying to save a few bucks. If performance matters, go with the TRD.

i had TRD, now have the n1. the n1 is a tad louder, still wont be your typical "hon duh" sound if thats what you want

but i like it better than trd, just the tip is to damn small.
