I know it has been mentioned in a few threads, but has anybody actually had the factory exhaust melting the paint on the Wings West rear skirt?

I'd rather fit the kit first and then fit a TRD extended exhaust at a later date.

But if it's going to melt the paint, I'll fit the exhaust first.

Cheers.

No, this is a complete myth. If there is any truth to it at all it had to be from someone with a really bad paint job.

I have a repainted TRD rear valence and I still have the factory exhaust. It's perfectly fine, if that's not good enough for you. Ring Three in my club has the WW kit with stock exhaust and his is fine too.

Hmmmm some say yes it melts the paint, others say no it doesn't.

Probably worth fitting the TRD extended exhaust first just to be on the safe side then.

Thanks for your help.
