Fast and The Furious Question!!

Many of you my laugh at this but I have a question...

In the movie, (Yes I know how fake it is) they have cars that are turbo'd and running nitrous..

Now for like c2gas, pro-style-gts, smaay, and all you others with built motors, can you actually do this? And no, I am not taking about intercoller spray. I am talking about direct port nitrous injection wet obviously. Thank you and laugh if you must!

sure, just make sure all you parts can handle the power.nitrous adds power helps spool turbos faster and cools the charge without wasting it on the outside of the intercooler.you still wont have a ten second car though.
Yes you can. There have actually been a couple of members that have done this withOUT having a built motor. Personally I don't understand why someone would do this though because it seems like you could just up the boost.
It does make spool up time faster. It really isn't necessary unless you are using a monster turbo. The intercooler chiller makes more sense for a street car seeing as it doesn't change your A/F ratio. With nitrous being sprayed in the engine you would need to tune for it and that would be a pain in the ass. Also you don't have to spray N20 on the intercooler you can use c02 wich is cheaper.

My thoughts exactly.
okay thanks for the responses. so now about the intercooler spray do you spray for like road racing to cool the car down, or like drag strip? sorry newb to this nitrous stuff
It is to cool the air charge going through the intercooler into the engine. Colder air is more dense which means more power. Say the air going into the engine is 100 degrees with intercooler. If you spray it while you are going it will be much colder. N20 is negative 40 degrees so that would make the air going in way colder which will make large gains in horsepower.
man you guys beat me to all the answers...i have been toying with the idea of running both nitrous and the turbo...im using a GT35R turbo which is HUGE!!!! so the nitrous will be for a quicker spool time...
Nice turbo. I am going with the Precision T3/T04E sc61 ball bearing. It is capable of making 750 hp so I will be fine. I will just go with the n-tercooler chiller.
