ok i've been using Mitchell on Demand here at the shop but it seems to only show the 1ZZ engine.

are 2ZZ valves adjustable? or do they have hydraulic lifters?

I'm also planning on Port and Polishing the head. What problems will I forsee and/or gains will i see as well. We have all the appropriate tools including a flow bench so it will be done right i'm just looking for some guidance on it all if anyone knows anything it would be greatly appreciated.

solid lifters. Measure all clearances, dissassemble, measure shim thickness, take difference between desired lash and measured lash, add or subtract that number from the shim thickness (as needed), select new shim (or mill the old one to fit), reassemple with new shims, check clearances again to be sure.

If you have it all apart and are doing the machine shop route, then use one size shim on everything and grind the end of the valve stems to set the lash.
