is this only for your year?
and.. how did your doctors visit go? the symptoms didn't sound like you had a cold or the flu. but you should rest and drink lots of fluids and take vitamin C anyway since it is flu season.
They're not going to replace your brakes. All they do is check to see if your master cylinder is leaking, I believe. When I went to toyota and asked about the recall, they didn't believe me. I should get one in the mail even though i'm the second owner right?Originally posted by GTS808
Months and months after the recall for the master cylinder was issued. :thumbdown I'm really hoping that everything is ok. Sigh....Now I have to find time to take it in. I do know what they will tell me though, I need a brake job really really badly.
I know they won't replace my brakes. But I do know that they will tell me I need a brake job done.Originally posted by mackeywatson

eh, kinda sorta. But I think the same cold has been passed around work several times. I just took a couple of days off and I seem to be better now.Originally posted by QWKsilvr808

"On a small number of 2000 model year Toyota Celica and Echo vehicles, there is a possibility that the recess that retains a rubber seal ring, which is located at the end of the brake master cylinder, may be corroded due to an improper cleaning process. In this condition, brake fluid may leak from the seal, or a smalol amount of air may enter the master cylinder, which could lead to an increase of vehicle stopping distance and thus raise the possibilty of a crash."Originally posted by skamikaze
