didn't most P7 mebers do it with Vinal dye also?
I thought that was better to use so it didn't scratch as easly as paint would.

Ya, plus real paint would not have the flat look it gives to it. It looks OEM.

is there any differnce in the glare on the winshild compared to stock grey color?

uhm.....i never really had a problem with a glare with the stock color. And nothin bothers me now either. So can't really compare.
