Sup everyone
Selling this stock jbl head unit as I recently replaced it with an aftermarket radio. This stock radio and the display is in good condition and works fine.

Feel free to give me an offer! Shipping will be $11.30 via USPS Priority (United States Only). Paypal/ Venmo payment only. Thanks.

When it was still installed:

Silverstreak it won't be plug and play for you. The JBL uses an external amp so not only would it not plug in, it won't play anything after you hacked up the wires. Non-premium doesn't use the same connector, but this is good news because you're much better off with a Scion head unit. Those will be plug and play for you and they look sick!

Thanks for clarifying the compatibility aznxenon! So does this mean that it will only work if the car has an amp? (be it stock jbl or aftermarket amp)

Yup, your unit will only work for GTS or GT with premium sound. If there's an amp to the right of the glove box, then you have premium sound. I did a bunch of research on this one. This is one of the Scion ones, see how the 2nd picture the connector (middle one with a split) is very different from the one with the premium sound http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=339898

I'm done a bunch of research on this one since I'm on the fence on seeing if I could fit the Tundra OEM GPS HU. See how the (1) in the picture is the same connector as the one on this JBL unit? http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/tu...102827-07-navi-install-08-jbl-dc-limited.html

I see the difference now. No wonder i had to get an extra harness adapter when I got the aftermarket radio installed. ~Still for sale!

according to what i read and from aznxenon, this head unit will only work if your celica has a premium sound system from the factory.

Usually u can tell if your celica has the premium sound system if theres a jbl amp to the right of the glove box and/or jbl logos on your speaker covers. I've read that all 00-02 GT-S has premium sound system (which means theres a factory amp) but without jbl logos on the speaker covers. As for 00-02 compatibility, again, i think as long as it has the premium setup it should work.

can anyone verify this? Can i use this on a 00 GT-S?
I read a while ago i think the options for a gt was a smaller sound system and if you got a gt-s it was factory upgraded already with a higher sound system that would be their (msrp) or what ever
