Fuel injector comparability

Hello,

I looked up the fuel injector part number on the Toyota parts website. It showed that the fuel injector fits other models so I went to the junk yard and took a look at a few corollas that showed the celica fuel injector (232090D040) The fuel injectors didn’t have that part number on them. When I looked up the number on the spark plug nothing shows up.

Will Corolla and maxtrix fuel injectors work on a celica even though the numbers are different?

Before you start replacing parts. What engine do you have? So we can better assist you. The picture says GT, so assuming its a 1zz. You're also mentioning 2 different parts and 1 part number. The spark plugs are different from the fuel injectors. If the Corolla part numbers aren't matching, odds are you have the 2zz engine, but we're guessing in the dark at this point.

He has an '01 GT. 23209-22040 is the original p/n. Which has been superseded by 23209-0D040.

The original p/n is used in:
04/2002-05/2007 TOYOTA COROLLA
08/1997-12/2001 TOYOTA COROLLA
01/2002-12/2007 TOYOTA COROLLA, MATRIX
12/1999-12/2004 TOYOTA MR2
08/1999-06/2005 TOYOTA CELICA

The superseded is shown used in:
08/1997-12/2001 TOYOTA COROLLA
01/2002-12/2007 TOYOTA COROLLA, MATRIX

Basically, all 1ZZFE engines. To answer his question (I think), yes... unless it's a 2ZZ.

Those should work. The numbers appear to be manufacturer's & not Toyota's. They are 1ZZ-FE injectors.
