I've got the c-one close gear set + trd lsd, and they work pretty fine with me, on and off road..... super for 1/4 mile drag races.

My ride is an corolla tsport 2zzge engine and a zze123 chasis, and shares pretty much of the celica gts.

What kind of improvments did you see in the 1/4 from stock to C-one? How much did it effect your gas milage as well?

unfortunately down here in Panama city we are not equipped with dynos nor properly set ddrag strips, but we will have them with in a couple of months,

W/ the stock gear ratio my timming was around 15.9 1/4 mile
my best timming @ night with the c-one gears was 14.4 and @ day time around 14.8 @ 100 degres +.

all this with the following mods,

Toda racing flywheel / ACT Clutch / Unorthodox pulley set / Apexi SAFC / Injen CAI / C-one close ratio gear set / TRD Headers / TRD LSD.

I think that my timming could get better with better drag radials,

saludos

I did a test last week. I didn't use 6th gear at all to see what my gas mileage was like. I do about 80% freeway driving at 75 mph, and normally average 30-32 mpg. With one tank full not using 6th I got 28 mpg.
On the other hand I just did a long trip going 85 in 6th for hundreds of miles, and average about 34 mpg, and I'm guessing that if I did the same thing in 5th, I'd be getting around 26 mpg.
I'm also thinking that I could get oversized wheels like 215/17/50's to off-set the lower 6th, but then 1st gear would just be that much higher, and when I put my smaller racing tires on that might make for the higher 1st gear.

I guess my biggest problem with the c-one gears is that they moved 1st gear higher instead of lower. Of course then they'd have to move the 2nd down that much more.

I found a couple of places that does gears for domestics, and I already asked them, but I'm getting the same answer from everyone, "sorry we don't have anything for you, and there's no plans to make anything." I'm thinking we should try TRD, but I couldn't find any contact info on their web page.

Does the C-One kit also include synchros?
I dont think so, I remember asking this question in another thread and someone told me they didn't. But I'm not to sure. If this set did include upgraded synchros I would have bought these a long time ago and still will if I found out they do!
