figured i'd share my beating- well, this is how the story goes, a buddy of mine and i went up to hermosa to do some bar hopping, hit a few spots and then stayed at this one place till closing (i don't remember any bar names, so don't ask); the bartender and waitresses were cool, she was pouring us free shots and we were getting almost every other drink for free. so of course we got pretty faded. well, myself more than my buddy, since he had to drive home. anyway, we're walking back to where we parked a little after 2 am and we walked by a group of 6 or 7 mexican guys that were trying to pick up on some drunk girl. i guess they were saying some pretty lude comments to her (my buddy had to refresh my memory on most of what happened after about 1 am when i saw him this morning) and i said something like "hey guys show her some phucking respect", and we kept walking, according to my friend, they ran up on us and as i turned around one of them slugged me and knocked me over, then, when i was standing back up another one punched me and knocked me out. i guess that scared em and they ran off. so i woke up after about a minute and we drive home. now today my left cheek is all swollen and it hurts like a b!tch to chew so i guess i'll be eating soup for a few days. on the bright side, i still have all my teeth, and my neighbor gave me a bunch of codeine!
