What made you chose the GT35R when the GT30R is rated for 350-500 wheel and will spool faster.

I have similar power goals which is why I am probably going to go with the GT30R
because Aaron at ATS racing told me that the 30 will run out of steam at the higher RPM's where as the 35 will still have juice left...and the lag difference between the 2 will be very minimal...im going to use teh same turbo on my 2.2L stroked 3S-GTE in my All-Trac
Hey smaay, what A/R on the turbine side?

read the same thing on the rsx forums
My T3/T04E is capable of up to 750 hp. It also boosts on CFT's civic all the way to 10,000 RPMS. Smaay's 1.8 engine is identical to mine so the dynos will tell which turbo is better for the setup. Mine should be complete Friday. Once I get my tax returns I am ordering the C2Power trans.
This turbo is huge! I guess even for your 2l conversion and even at higher revs the GT30R should do.

But I'm absolutely excited to see the results. That Turbo is awesome...just too big. ;)
Wow...Smaay you are the envy of this forum and my hero!

General question: How much HP can the stock GT 5spd tranny hold?
He already bought C2Power tranny set, but stock tranny should hold around 250ft/lb torque
just remember that several N/A guys have destroyed trannys...
dude how do you plan on reving to 86 because of the speed of the pistion travel and what not i was told even with vaulves and stuff you should only rev to 8000 with a 2.0L

a different rod/stroke ratio was used and its top secret

Stock GT Tranny... ~250 hp
But I would be concerned about being able to put that down reliably.

Are you looking for streetable performance, or just a Dyno / Track Queen. I agree with the GT35R for Track / Dyno purposes...but for all around streetable performance (not just straight line performance) I am going to stick with the GT30R.

The 3SGTE 2.2L stroker kit offered by CJ-Motorsports has consistently been run at a 9000 RPM and has not failed yet. However I am still going to be more conservative and put the revlimiter at ~8200 RPM. (Stock Redline on a Gen2 3SGTE is 7200RPM)

Nobody gets anything over 400 horse out of a GT30R on a 2.0 L without crazy boost levels. Smaay made the right choice.

I will post Dyno results this Spring that will suggest otherwise.
lets see....I love all this friendly competition
glad to see everything is finally coming together for you Jeff. :)
HAd 260hp today on a nice MAHA Dyno. Very satisfied with my GT-T.
Thanks Chris...its sure taking long enough

can you can for me?
I will. :) And write my own posting (don't want to steal smaays thread, I was just too happy).

But not today. The curve at 0.9 Bar is pretty straight and looks very good. But you'll see. Oh...and I got torque...287NM at 4800rpm.
