just wondering what you guys with gt and 18's are running?? WOndering how much they slow you [email protected]!

depends on the diamter. With light weight 18's an dthe proper tire size. The effect can be minimal to none.

But most wheel speople buy arent lightweight. Light wheels = Alot of dough.

So you can lose anywhere from 3-4 tenths.

the way i see it is.. if you're gona get wheels dont be a jew. spend money.. adr msports are nice and affordable for my Z.. and i have a thing for the mesh look.. however.. im also a fan of the sporty 5 spoke look.. mesh tends to be heavier than spokes.. SOOOO.. its definately 5 spoke, and it must be light.. very light.. lightest i can find that i can afford is Volk racing SF- Challenge.. sure im gonna have to stop buying fast food, going out to eat, stop buying cigarettes and condoms but i WILL get those wheels

My friend has a GT with 18's. Knoig verdicts. His S/N here is GeNuInEVeLoCiTy.

I take him all the time on the launch. and thats it, no one pulls further. Since most of my friends who track their cars have wheels, Most of them. MOST, not all. have lost from 1-3 tenths.

The t/c dynoed MORE WHP with 19's than 17's.

Centerline Rpm's 17x7 only 13 lbs. Thats what I have. I need to go to the track with them compared to my run with Motegi Mr7 18's that weighed 28.5 lbs. Should be a huge a difference.
