Going to my girls house last night and cought up with a black 06 wrx pushing at 12 lbs of boost you can just hea the turbo spooling up as he gets ready to race. The first race beep 3 times and went at second gear hitting lift while he was spooling up and beat him ok i guess it was really quick. 2nd race i started out at 35 mph and like a dumb azz i should of started at first at lift but anyways same thing goes and than he just starts to pull and by than it was to late for vvtl-i to kick in and yea i got beat. Stop at the gas station to talk we both were kinda surprise how fast both car was and the guy knew notting about vvtl-i untill i told him its kinda like v-tec but better with out the smoke :chuckles:

Roll racing is kinda lame...should have raced him from a dig...good runs anways

yes. race him from a stop where the outcome is assured unless he cannot drive. personally.. i go for the challange as opposed to luck.

because 1/4 mile strips are done from rolls I respect the driver that beats me more than just the car...

I'm assuming his WRX was stock, because their stock boost levels are at about 12. (STIs are tuned for 14.5)

the new 2.5 WRXs are puttin down around 195whp maybe a tad more stock.... verse the older ones were only around 165-170whp....
