heres a pic of my gunmetal gt-s wheels..just thought i'd share for the guys that are contemplating painting their stock 16s gunmetal. i did these like two months ago and i just took pics of them today, so as you can see they're holding up REALLY well. i used duplicolor wheel paint

damn i should have done that but i just used flat black and now the black is kinda fading...

That looks awesome! I just painted mine yesterday with duplicolor paint the same color. I'm just waiting on tires to put them on. I can't wait. They look great on your car.

hey ridin13 post pics with them on yout spec blue celica when you get them...im strongly thinking of doing this. maybe bronze! hmmm....

did you paint them with the tire still on the wheel? Did you use any primer or clear coat?

yeah i painted with the tires still on the wheel..i put index cards on the edges of the rim to protect the paint from getting on the tire. and i used like 3 coats of clearcoat..not too much..but i just wanted something on to protect it and make it look cleaner.

i just did them flat black a few days ago..anyone interested in pics who are thinking about doing black on black?
