So, I've been reading about how HID installs into the stock halogen assembly can reveal the "UFO holes" that are present in the halogen assemblies and not the HID ones. I'm running stock halogens but my right projector seems to be either misaligned or damaged as I see the UFO's on that headlight. Left one is perfectly fine. Wat do?

Bulb is installed wrong, it's cocked at an angle in the housing.

Whoever replaced it wasn't paying attn. to how they put it back in. Is the wire holding the bulb in place or the rubber boot.
They are a PITA to replace in place.

Not entirely sure how the bulb is cocked. If I remember correctly, you gotta remove the bumper to get to all the mounting brackets and get at the bulb, right? How long would it take to get that set properly?

You don't have to remove the bumper. The projectors are at the top of the headlight. You need to remove the L-shape engine plastic to see it. The most likely reason is the bulb not beeing properly in place in the housing as mentioned.

The tab needs to be up! Had this problem myself. Fine now.

Damn, well I tried to remove the headlight and ran into some trouble. So for the right side headlight, once you remove the two 10mm bolts and disconnect the tab from the washer fluid clip, are you just supposed to lift and it'll come out? If so, something's up. I can't seem to pull the headlight out.

There are 3 bolts.

Where's the third, then? I only saw two. One at the front underneath the plastic cover and one at the back.

One behind the bumper corner at the wheel.

Do I have to remove anything to get to the bolt at the bumper corner?

One bolt holds bumper to fender. Remove it pop bumper side out of clip. You can push bumper down far enough to get to bolt for headlight.

Managed to reinstall bulb without having to remove anything, so hooray for that. I'll bet it's gonna be a PITA for the left side headlight though.

Yep, the left side is a bit more tight but it's still doable.
