Hey All,

On the weekend i went canyoning in the blue mountains up at Mt Wilson, just past Black Heath.

Yesterday afternoon we were in a canyon when it started to hail. Two hours later we were back up at the campground and it was like snow everywhere but it was hail.

I went up to my car and it looked fine but closer examination revealed hail stone damage from hell. The roof, bonet, doors and all rear and side rear panels are damaged. Even the head light protectors are cracked.

Called up NRMA today and made a claim. I loose 20% no claim.

Hopefully find out the cost of the damage this week.

Damn, sorry to hear about that. Is that a freak weather occuarnce around that area or does that happen once in a while?

I had to make a claim.. Its going to cost around 10k to fix. Bonnet and roof is getting replaced and other dints are being filed out.

Its going to be in the shop for around 3 weeks.
