gf has a 2003 gt auto. the owner's manual refers to some sort of dial/switch to the left of the steering wheel that doesn't exist on this car, the only thing there is the power window lock. tech info on here refers to some nut or bolt you can turn, but when i turned the one i thought i saw on the headlight housing it had no effect.

help?

Its right behind the headlight. Open the hood look closely on the headlight, it looks like a silver bottle cap. You rotate it up and down.

You are refering to the auto-leveling switch for the HID's that is by the steering wheel. If you need to physically adjust the headlights is on the headlight itself. It's a gear like silver circle that you turn.

Are you sure.?.. Did you do it infront of a wall or garage door about 6-5 feet away. look closely and turn the knob. It should go up and down.

You should do it from 20-25ft. Also remember not to really turn it because 1/4 turn of the knob can throw it way off when put into perspective

lol I wasn't sure how far I did it about close to 10 feet away. O well, I'll do it again later.
