headlight assembly question

anyone know the part number for the steel silver clip that holds the low beam bulb in place that snaps on? i don't have a pic but hopefully u guys will know what i am talking about...i bent it long time ago and wanted to get it replaced since it doesn't hold the bulb in place that well, i went to the dealership and the parts guy didn't know either and thought that it might b part of the whole light assembly? is that true? any help will b great. thanks guys.

Ask the parts guy to look up these parts (depending on which side needs replacing):

Left: 81193-20020
Right: 81194-20020

They're called "Retainer, Upper Lamp", and they're part of the headlight housing itself.

back from the dead... so were the above mentioned parts the clips that hold the lights in? i bent the bajesus out of mine to fit my HIDs in. now they arent as tight as i wanted, so i need to dremel out the oem h7 black thing and need the oem clip.

and you got it from toyota or a generic parts store?

well, i was just about to purchase a set, but i glanced at the price and it was $5.97 a piece... made me wonder if its just hella expensive or if its not the part im looking for.

anyone purchased the metal clip before?

Are you sure 81194-20020 is the part number for the silver clip? I rodered it and got this black thing(I'm not sure what it is), but for sure isnt the silver clip.
