There is a long story that preceeds this but, I'm at the point of reinstalling my timing chain. I have the dealer manual but it is kind of vague on which timing marks to use. Also while following the dealer instructions on lining up the marks to get TDC on #1 piston I'm bottoming out vales on a piston (not sure which cylinder.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

the yellow link lines up with the crank timing sprocket mark and the orange ones on the camshaft sprockets. The tricky one is the exhaust sprocket. One point will point to the rear of the car, one up and one to the front. On the Intake side one will point to the exhaust sprocket and one should point up to the orange link. Remember to keep slack on the chain tensioner side! That can be tricky though.

Best of luck
