ok so that little knob on the front part of the seat fell off my seat, i try to put it back on, tighten it, or smack it with a rubber mallet, and it just falls off again, does anyone have any advice on how it goes on lol? i'm hoping i'm just being an idiot and i'm overlooking something....

Lol. Just happened to me too. I had fixed it about 2 years ago as well.

Mix some jb weld put it in the slot in the knob, push it onto the rod, let it dry and never use it.

This worked for me b/c I never even touch that knob

It's probably because of the Scion mats and nasty blue paint on the center console. She's pissed at ya. :D

Ghetto. What if you need to replace your seat covers? Then you're screwed.

There is an omega-shaped pin holding the knob in place (Ω). It's a little hard to get it to fit on, but once you figure it out, it's feasible. I faced this issue when I did my 03+ interior plastic swap.

Just place the pin halfway on the nub of the knob, fit the knob on the shaft of the seat adjuster and press the pin all the way in with a screwdriver.

It's the same clip that's on manual window cranks. it goes into the slot then you smack the knob back on to the rod and it snaps into place.
