i had this paint mixed some exact paint as my car. Painted....it looks almost perfect. The thing is, it doesn't shine like the rest of my body. Added layers of clear lacquer (however u spell it) and still no luck.. u can tell there is a difference.. the tone of my home made paint is slightly darker....

any tricks to it without taking it back to the body shop? thanks!

im guessing if its metallic.. it might be hard to get perfect. so it'll shine a lil differently. im guessing the only way around it is to feather the other body panels next to whatever you painted.

Did u wet sand it And then buffed it out with 3M compound when you were done clearing it ?

no..i never wet sand it...should I?

Plus, u guys know of any place or site that sells pearl spray cans?

your local paint supplier should be able to get that for you.

you can get any paint put in a rattle can, and yes, you should wet sand. but for now... go get some clear coat polish and a buffing pad. you can shine it up to a degree
