HID Problem

So recently i put 10k hids in my car. But i have noticed they arent as bright as they should be and they dont reach very far. Is it because of the way the light bulb is sitting inside the projector or what? If i cant fix the problem i will have to go back to regular bulbs so please help. Thanks.

Anything above OEM (4.3k) is going to put out less visible light. Sure your 10k bulbs will "look cool" but you won't see that much. Go to a lower temp HID and they're blow halogen bulbs out of the water (5-6k)
10k?? is that like purple?
10k are blue, just get 3k fogs and u will get a wide spectrum of color like a greenish color that lights up alot more than just the 10k
Same thing happened to me, turns out the kit i bought installed myself was just sitting in the projector, was not actually locked in which caused next to no light output. My kit i bought needed adapters that cost about 20 dollars, even though it was a H7 kit. So take it to a local shop that does HID install and ask them for the adapters.
Bulb not sitting correctly in the housing. Modify the metal clip that hold the bulb to tighten it.
Just bend the clip... you do not need adapters lol. and for the love of god please reaim your headlights. I'm not interested in getting blinded by blue colored lights... looks like cop cars haha
