no and espcially no for boosted application. You might get away if you do a oem gasket+hondata+oem gasket.

 

They tend to siform aven under relatively low HP N/A. 240max's was all melt. Mine never leaked and only had small disformation (I compared it to brand new pictures I had recently). Could be worst over time! Does not seem reliable to me, especially with track heat or high output of turbo cars ...



Interesting!! The hondata will still have a lot of heat tho!

 

I run one on my supercharged celica and I have had no problems with mine at all. How ever I am not running 400 hp either. Works just fine.

 

Today I installed hondata intake manifold gasket. Is so thick that it barely fits, Toyota Service struggled with this more than half-day :laugh:
Interesting if I feel some difference in plus on hot days, or see more HP on dyno ?

 

id say never take it back to those techs again

A sec.. So stock IM gasket isnt good enough?

 

Mine melted and so did milesplume's, a former member. Both of us were supercharged. It might hold up N/A -- it's not a power issue, but one of heat.

 

how about the exhaust manifold gasket?

 

OEM gaskets work fine for both.

 

Then whats the problem? Im running OEM on intake, exhaust, and Head without any problems..

 

You are just fine with your gaskets.
The problem is that some guys experienced problems with their blue hondata gasket with forced induction.
You dont need other gaskets and as far as I know there are no other gaskets availble for the header.

OT: Do you drive the red celica in sliema?

I was walking at the promenade as I was hearing a good sounding red celica which raced an integra.
I just tought it was you.
There arent much 7th gen celicas on the main isle, arent they?
On Gozo I didnt see any celica.
