I live pretty close to there. I was actually just looking it up the other day to see when they have their "fun days". I heard it's a pretty nice place. I may have to make a trip there sometime this summer so let me know if you guys end up going!

Dude after everything said and done your total cost after the trip down, track time, and going home would be about $250.

you guys missed out!!!!!!! It was a blast. I got only 1 black flag this event. I also had someone else drive my car and he said it was an amazing track car and only needed more power!!!!!

No one wrecked, someone lost a cellphone on track, and every car went home under its own power.

Next event is a weekend event. July 12-13.

I went to Mid-Ohio last weekend as a spectator for the Mechanics Bank Vintage Grand Prix. First time to Mid-Ohio, or any track for that matter...though I've watched a lot of racing on TV. Anyway, it was pretty awesome, and got me looking into going to a track day to drive the Celica properly.

A track day at Mid-Ohio is $195, not terrible, but then I saw Nelson Ledges. I'm considering trying Nelson Ledges first. Partly because it's cheaper, and partly because it sounds like it might be more track time for the $$.

That being said, I haven't even been to Nelson Ledges, so I'm thinking in the next month or so I might just go up to spectate, and get a feel of the place, so maybe I can make it to a Fun Day in the fall.
