How do you know you are addicted?

You wake up in the morning at 6AM, which your brain thinks is 5AM because of the time switch, look out your window and see 1/2" of snow on your deck...and jump in the shower so you can pack up the car to go racing.

Cold day but a lot of fun, luckily Akron didn't get the snow we had at home. I ran on my street tires, Azenis, instead of bothering to change wheels when it was 27 degrees out. First time I've ever been in ski pants to walk the course. I took first in DS, out of 3 including my wife. We'll have to wait for the calculations but I'm almost positive I'm top 10 PAX for the day. Despite the weather I think we had about 120 drivers out there. I could get used to this not having to change tires thing though, it took 5 minutes to pack up the car and be ready to drive home.

The Falkens made good REALLY cold weather race tires and seemed to behave quite well at 46 front 40 rear. The left front rolled over a bit even with our 2.0 camber but both Jen and I were quite well aware that we over-drove one of the right hand turns(once for me twice for Jen), both of us went wide and barely kept from having to buff out orange marks.

I know I'm addicted when I come home from one event and go online and preregister for another one coming this Sunday...

sigh...it's like crack...
I look at traffic cones in construction areas in an entirely different light.
When you spend more money Autocrossing in the Month of September, then all of you other bills combined.

Did you order Falkens for Jens WRX yet? ;-)
When your computer starts up in the morning with multiple windows open, each one to an AX site...

When the beep doesn't mean you got mail, but that someone has made a new post on an AX forum...

When you make sure to late apex the turn into your driveway...

When someone says "how's it goin'?" in passing and you tell them your pax position from last weekend's AX...

When you memorize the turns and plan a line while walking through the grocery store...
i once called work complaining about uncontrollable allergies because i didnt file for a vacation in time.

we've also had to move my mom's b-day celebration to Saturday because of an event on Sunday.

I can't agree more...it was impossible to wake up to morning classes when I was in school and now getting to work at 8:30 is a struggle but making the 8:30 registration is with motivation and energy...
