How easy is it to mod 03 gts?

if it turns out to be good.. my question is, how easy is it to mod a gts to get more power? does it have lots of mods like lets say a rsx?

CAI, exhaust, header, all easily done.
i know CAI is easily done.. but header has to be a special one? and there is only two good exhausts? trd and evo II?

im not sure if ill buy it... im more interested in an rsx-s since there is way more parts for it.. and the interior is much better in my opinion.. but if i cant find a good rsx-s, i might get the celica..
just about any car has great modifications just depends on how much money you have
I have 03 GT-s and LOVE IT!

I can't comment if it is easier or harder to mod than an RSX. One of the only limitations is that there are limited aftermarket ECUs that will work with its Drive by wire (no throttle cable). I have CAI, Ported Stock Header, TRD exhaust, custom mid-pipe with Cat and resonator deleated......also a bunch of other stuff. I assume everything was just as hard or easy as most other imports.
what does the car do 0-60 with intake?
with a GT-S 00-01, 03-04 the 0-60 time should be around 6.5-6.6 with intake maybe a tad lower. Just depends if you can drive and stay in lift.
stock its 7.2 i believe?? does an intake really shave off .7 seconds??
i found this.. maybe its wrong?? but it doesnt show 03+ times

dont get me wrong, i am lucky to get my hands on an auto gt celica, but if i had the money to spend on a gts or rsx-s, i'd get the honda.

both are identical, and can be made fast, its just that a honda will be supported more with aftermarket. the biggest we can go is about 1950cc, while the k20s get to have them k24 block swaps...

**** no! any true celica owner and other people i asked who dont own a celica say the celica looks 10x better. rsx does have the edge on performance because of aftermarket, but hell no it dont got the interior or exterior the celica has. anyways my 03 celica will eat up an rsx with bolt ons... and if he goes charger or nitrous or turbo, theres celicas out there that will go toe and toe with one also. its just more rare to see a fixed up celica than a fixed up rsx.

Nearly everyone says a Celica looks nicer (and I agree!), but the RSX is definitely if you're looking for more bang for your buck performance.

yup like everyone says. if you want performance and more band for the buck get a rsx.
if you just want a fun car to drive get a Celica. you wont regret it
the 0-60 is all driver.... but it will be around those times regardless..... Get the RSX S.... Honda just polished the 2ZZ design with the K-series engines.... the cars are very comparible with the aftermarket edge goin to the honda and it has a better 6speed tranny.....

Also, omabramo.... Why are you lucky to have an AUTO GT?? I feel sorry for ya.... thats like having sex with a condom.... well... maybe not.... its probably closer to gettin blue balls everyday.....
well I read more about the rsx and apparently it has power seats, heated mirrors, heated leather seats, ABS, roomier interior??.. what advantages does the celica have over it?
buy whichever you like better...But if performance is your main concern, steer away from the GTS

because i couldnt have bought one without the parents helping out for half. the dealer only had 4 to choose from, all autos, and i needed a car asap.
it was either a new celica or a new civic. do you blame me?
