take the lower cover off on the driver side and you should see it straight up about mid way from the tranny. or if you remove your intake tube you can kinda see it. i just got to mine tonight because i knew i over filled it.
im lowered 2+inches and filled it on jack stands so i had to drain some out while it was level. it looks just like the drain plug.
sad part is that i think my rear main seal may be leaking. some oil in that general area. makes me sad only got 55k on it.
Is it actually dripping oil or just sweating? Cause mine looks to be leaking as well but its only a light sweat, which is no big deal. You could replace the seal and have it start doing the same thing within 6 months...
With respect to the hand pump, does the pump screw onto the top of the oil bottle? It seems that the neck of the bottle is too small to allow the pump to screw to it? Any ideas?

Yes, I've had the same problem. It depends on the many different sized pumps you buy. It's no big deal, just hold it in there best you can and push the pump. It will still work.

right. the neck on the redline bottle is super small. i just transferred it to another bottle that had the same neck and pumped away. cleaned it out of course but it did fine.
MT-90 isn't for automatic transmissions, only manual
But to answer your second question, yes. Most people who are switching to a more expensive synthetic lubricant will flush their system with a cheaper one, and then on the final fill put in the good stuff.
I have a 2000 auto gt and I want to do the trans oil change. I have done it with a Nissan sentra from replacing the oil, gasket, trans filter. I'm just not 100% sure if I'm doing the proper steps. Like am I suppose to put the new oil into the trans dip stick? If someone can help me out Point me into the right direction to doing this. I'm willing to do a write up pic by pic. I've noticed there isn't much threads for those who have a gt auto. I'm going to start going o school next for auto mechanic to elevate my education on cars.
So if there's anyone intrested in helping me out with info I'll do a write up and give u credit also for the help. PLEASE PM ME THAT WAY I CAN GET ALL THE INFO. if this goes good I also want to do other write ups since I don't trust any mecanic with my car unless I know the person. I want to start this asap since my car needs it
