Here are the pics of the prototype rear 2pt strut tower bar. The center bar is the final design. Except it's not polished yet.

End brackets which are not completely visable will be flipped so the billet piece is towards the back of the car and more visable. These pieces are not completely finished but will contoured down. for a nicer look and remove a few more grams. The darker part of the brackets (carbon steel) are zinc plated for a professional look and prevent corrosion.

The bar leaves plenty of room for my amp. And once the brackets are flipped (gotta notch my plastic first), will give yet another inch of clearance. So there should be no worries, even with the biggest of amps. This entire piece weights about 2.5-3lbs. Front bar weights about 3.5lbs.

First order will be finished cut in about a week (cross your fingers, shop is still burning the midnight oil with the military parts) and we expect to ship shortly there after. I know many of the preorders have been counting the days due to the other shops screwed up our ETA in the worst way. The bar will come with much nicer hardware as well!!

Don't mind the TRD notching of the plastic. The cutting required for this bar is much less than is shown here.

Preorder is still on until we recieve the first shipment! Free gift certificate with purchase during preorder.

Don't feel bad. I'm short on cash myself. I can't get the 50shot installed on my car for a few more months. All this prototyping in the next 2-3 months is going to drain Keith's and my wallet.

The looks of the bar are important to some. I design and build parts like this for people like myself that wants the best performance and a sweet looking part to boot. Why not have both. Performance is a beautiful thing than few can produce.

The bar is made of 6061 aircraft quality billet aluminum. The holes in the bar are made so it significantly lightens the bar up without giving up structural rigiditiy. It's basically an I beam design with addition cross sections to improve strenght. Wieght and performance is our biggest priority when making this bar.

This makes for a strong but very light bar. This is lighter than the old chrome moly 2pt rear design. This design has worked very well with our front billet aluminum strut tower bar. Which you can find pics of that and our other parts at www.hypermotive.net. Any questions feel free to ask.

Also I would like to add that we used flat steel for part of the end brackets to improve strenght as well.

Sweet. I've been waiting a long time for this too. Won't be long now. Finally.

The front bars are currently in stock.

And I changed the colors from the picture in my sig to make it look like it was very hot! :) Hence the phrase "Forged with pride".

Got an email from the shop last night, they are working on having all the end brackets done by Sunday. And then the center bars by Wednesday. If this holds up and they meet that date we could start shipping by Monday morning.

The pics on the site? It's just because of the lighting. It's the flourescent lighting in the back ground.

Bars are now in and Keith and I will be polishing away tonight until this weekend. Ship date is set for Monday!!!

Awesome. That was quick as hell. I just dropped it off to ship out all orders yesterday afternoon. So they are all on the way!!! I'll have full pics up tonight. Just be careful cutting your interior. It easier to take more off than put the plastic back on!!!

Most people should receive their bars by the end of this week.

Also for those that received the gift certificates. I forgot to stick them in the boxes in my haste to finish packaging them Sunday night at 1am(monday morning). I will send you an email with your gift certificate amount, your ID code and how to place an order with them. So don't get excited when you don't see it in here.
