Is ths really common? Lots of body kits and rims, and I believe that some of them are lowered. About half have some exhaust mods as well.

I never know if they are nc members or not. I guess modded cars just come out more in the warm weather.

The Celi is not modified enough to be considered a "modified" car, but it is also not 100% stock, either.

The Maxima is definately modded!

I have seen the new maxima on the streets now. I must say that the tail end has gotten progressively WORSE since the one I drove ('87).

Amen. The 4th Gen was no better or worse than the 3rd gen, but the 5th gen only looked good in the SE trim level and the new 6th gen (just released) look like crap.

Why can't automakers get taillights right anymore...the maxima, camry, accord, altima...even the newest acura/infinity offerings have crappy taillight designs. They all look like they were thrown together as an afterthought...

Heck, even the front of the new 6th Gen maximas looks stupid in pics. On Maxima.org we have been hopin gthat they will do ao minor grille redesign (like they did between 96 and 97 on the 4th gens) to fix that. In real life the cars look fine, but in the pics they look stupid...but it is hard to argue with 6 speeds and 265 HP in a sedan for 30K...
