So my 02 toyota celica seems to have an idle problem? The car shakes a lot when its in drive and a little bit when its in neutral. I know its not the engine mounts cause I checked them. Any thoughts?

Run seafoam/Injector cleaner and see if that helps. Seafoam helped a rough idle on my car.

If it's misfiring you'd have the check engine light on and could check codes. Injector cleaner (in-tank, service, or both) may help there. Otherwise, sounds more like mounts by what you describe.

Thanks! I might try that. SO I went to Toyota today for them too look at my car and of course that was the time my car acts perfect. So I'll see what happens tomorrow I guess

Clean the MAF with MAF cleaner, too.

Clean mass air flow sensor really good make sure you let it air dry for about 20 min to make sure its fully dry that should do it it did it for me makes a big diference

Trying replacing your valve cover gasket and seals $29.00. Canadian Tire. Takes about 2 hours if you've never done this, but there is a tutorial on www.youtube.com search Toyota Celica valve cover replacement.

Hesitation with acceleration
Oil consumption issue
Stuttering idle - didn't hold idling power in my driveway

P.S. The major problem I had was oil getting on my coils and spark plugs. My seals and gasket were lifting inside my valve cover inside the engine. Toyota quoted me $2,500.00 to do the replacement. We all know dealerships are criminals.
I fixed resolved my issue for under 30 dollars.

Yea I was thinking it was the cold weather too. But I can't tell cuause this VA weather is so bipolar -_- so if spring actually comes I'll see if it stops. If not I'll clean my mass air flow sensor
