Want to know how many innocent civilians we are disposing of? This should update automatically.

Code:
<table width="144" height="144" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" background="http://www.iraqbodycount.org/images/ibc_cube_backg.gif">
 <tr>
   <td><a href="http://www.iraqbodycount.org"><img src="http://www.iraqbodycount.org/images/ibc_cube_grey.gif" alt="www.iraqbodycount.org" width="144" height="108" border="0"></a></td>
 </tr>
 <tr>
   <td width="144" height="36" align="center" valign="middle"><a href="http://www.iraqbodycount.org">
     <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
document.write("<img src='http://www.iraqbodycount.net/counters/ibc_a.gif" +
               "?" + Math.floor((new Date()).getTime()/900000) + "' " +
               "width='136' height='28' border='0' " +
               "alt='www.iraqbodycount.org'>");
</script></a></td>
 </tr>

Yeah, how many are actually dead though.. Did you know that the Iraqi regime/media lies? Also, do you know how many innocent civilians Sadamm killed? The US Military is being VERY careful not to kill innocent civilians, but this is war, and deaths are expected. I would imagine getting an accurate death count is nearly impossible with the miles and miles of terrain which must be covered...unless your source is Iraq...then the numbers can just be created.

By the way, a death count meter is kind of morbid, but I wonder how many innocents died in NY and DC?

One more point I would like to make:

Everyone complains on how brutal the US troops are to the poor poor "innocent" civilians, yet the first person treated in a military hospital in Iraq was an Iraqi soldier...also, we give them food and treat the POWs with respect. No one has commented on how poorly our troops are being treated as POWs in Iraq. I saw an interview with a former POW during the Gulf war. Trust me, they didnt feed him caviar.

I remember when the Taliban prisoners first arrived at prison in Cuba. The liberal media, and all these college student protestors and 1960's relics were bitchin and moaning about how the US would potentialy mis-treat them ....GUESS WHAT?? We never heard from them again because as it turned out we have been treating them with respect (even allowing their prayer time)

Point is, no one seems to give a damn about OUR troops treatment there, and it bothers me. All you hear about is how "evil" the United States govt is. (and dont say that the US govt isnt treating them humanely, that is more liberal bias to slant public opinion in their favors) .

topics??....count them, I did.....23 topics in Off Topic are mindless liberal nonsense. I thought this was a celica board? and I also see that no one posts here anymore (could it be because of Chui? Maybe thats a conspiracy he should investigate himself)

Anyway I just had to rant for a bit.

I found out last night, my friend was activated...but it seems the people here dont care about our men.

Those market attacks still need to be accounted for... doesnt look like a missile attack to me, more like a bomb set off or something. Iraq would do anything to win support, it wouldnt suprise me at all if they were to blame.

Uh, read the stuff we've got on the treatment of Taliban POWs at Camp X-Ray.

No one here has complained about the U.S. soldier and his (or her) treatment of civilians.
The main gripes that many of us have, are with the government.

Here is an example of what we do to avoid civilian deaths. The TV uplink station recently bombed was close to a hospital or some other civilians. Instead of dropping a 500 pound bomb which is comparitively small, we dropped a bomb that was full of concrete just to take out the equipment. Considering the amount of ordinance dropped that number is EXTREMELY low.

where's the civilian casualty rate since Sadam implemented his Republican Guard? I'd like to see that, since we're all interested in statistics, unless we'd like to ignore the past 23 years.
