I dissassembly my tranny and was thinking if a lighted flywheel is worth the money? or should I stick with the stock flywheel. My mods are AEM CAI. Future mods are PFC, exhaust, and headers

also what is a good clutch for the GTS?

From what I have read, it is like learning to drive a whole new car. While you are at it you should probably upgrade the clutch as well. Fidanza is the best/lightest flywheel, but I am not sure on what the general conscensus on which clutch is best.

If you're going to do it, now is the time. I'm sure you'd find that most of the people who upgraded to a lightweight flywheel have been pleased. I myself have MWRs chromoly 10.2 lb flywheel, and I can assure you one thing: it certianly does make the car more exhilerating to drive. As for adding power or whatever, I wouldn't expect too much in that department, but to expect to have a whole new experience driving the car.

ya definitly get the flywheel since you want a new clutch. I got fidanza flywheel and 6 puck ACT clutch, great combo! Launching is sooooooooo much better and revving is so much faster.

the trd flywheel will be a good choice....with no probleme for the tranny.and some guys with fidanza have a problem with disengage point and shift problem with the first and seconde gear.

me and dangts last year buy a fidanza a we have this problem of (desengage point) and i sell it and i buy a trd flywheel and i have no probleme and i have the same transmison and the same clutch.

Another good, simple improvement for the clutch system is Speed Source's extended slave cylinder pushrod. It makes stomping down on these heavyer clutches much more easy on the left foot.
Yep. I had to put one in after upgrading to my Exedy. For only $26 it made a huge difference.

Also, I would look into a stainless clutch line (TRD, Speed-Source, etc) if you are going to upgrade your flywheel/clutch. I think KarRacing has a GB on the TRD Japan ones for like $75 shipped.

If you want a little more hp & torque get a lighten flywheel
lighter flywheel will give you no gains, only faster rev's. the best price i have ever seen is from Southbend clutch. Call Andy and tell him i sent ya. he will take care of ya and give you a good clutch flywheel combo.

I'm sure he was just talking about material strength. I know MWRs flywheel is treated chomoly which is stronger than the aluminum the fidanza is made of (6061 I think?).
