to see my oem boot and trd shift nob back on my car... it looks so much cleaner then that crappy one my dad put on without telling me...

or somehow streach the boot up. looks bad showing the rod. also shouldnt it be rotated 90deg ?

coudnt turn anymore coz thats how the threading is. and if i made it go the other way without tightning all the way down it would be too loose. and im getting a shortshifter and new springs today :D

It goes on straight.. I've seen them. I'm sure rotating 90 wont make it loose.. if so you could probably alter the badge.

the badge looks like a peice of carbonfiber thingy and its under the leather so if i alter it itl destroy the knob itself. and yea i turned it so its straight but it gets loose after driving a while.

yea it sucks but i put some thread tape around it and now its turned tight when its straight. looks good

Sounds like my TRD oil cap but that's because the motor placement in the engine bay. Count how many threads from the top it's not screwing on. Remove it get some teflon tape and wrap it around real thick thread it and silicone glue it in place. It'll hold if you want to remove it get a blow dryer and heat it up so the glue gets hot and your can remove it easier. Do this only if you want to keep the knob and work around the rods threads where it won't line up. Screw it on tight until it lines up let the glue dry. It'll work takes some trial and error.

You can also dremel it down where it will work.

ah cool but i already ordered a bm shortshifter so im gona wait till that gets here :)
