I picked up a 1991 GT-R today (in Australia) and everything is sweet, except I cant figure out one button that is marked in Japanese.

Its a small square button to the left of the auto shifter.
This is in a RHD vehicle, so the button might be on the right of the shifter in a US spec GT-R.

Any help would be great.
Once I've got a photo of it, I can post that too if it helps.

Just push it and see what it does. My guess is it's either hazards or over-drive. But I would just push it, and run. If I can doesn't explode, go see what happened. :chuckles:

most likely it's the hazards, and on a side note, there is no US spec GT-R :wtc: damn these emission laws! :chuckles:

That button activates the time circuits and charges your Flux Capacitor

Cheers all, but no closer to an answer.
Hazards are simple, O/D, manual lockup, power buttons all covered.

Another forum (www.boostcruising.com) reckons maybe its the button to allow the shift out of park if you have no power (as per 180SX and Soarer). But so far, pushing it (momentary on type switch) does nothing.

Anyone have a wiring diagram for a GT-R available for download?
