the whole dash? Or just parts like the JDM Center Console? Unless you are planning on doing a RHD conversion, I dont think getting a JDM dash would be to practical

yeah i would hope so because that would be some crazy cash to import the whole dash and then convert to RHD!:gap:

Not all JDM centre console's come with the screen.

The screen is only available on the SS-II model, and is an option, it isn't standard.
I opted to go without it because i plan on installing my own DVD player in that spot in the near future.

Also the head units (radios) vary between the different J-Spec models. The higher end models (SS-II, SS-II Super Strut, Sports M) come with radios similar to mine. The other models (SS-I) come with pretty basic head units.

In short what i'm saying is don't just ask for any JDM centre console part #. You need to find out the exact setup that you want and be more specific.

I'm a newbie here, but just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I actually had a friend in japan ask a toyota dealer about the JDM console so that I could install it on my celi. I'm not sure how true this is, but from what he was told by the rep there, the JDM console won't fit our celi's here in the states. They say that the piece slightly faces the driver's side, which will make it impossible to install on our celi's.

The only part of the jdm dash that will fit is the top section. From that point down is different, because they have digital climate controls and the ebrake is on the opposite side from the USDM version (right hand drive).

I beg to differ, here is a pic of mine

Grifter_MP5, thanks for the info. I guess the dealer was smokin somethin. Where did you get yours? Any info on how I can get one? Or the price? I'm somewhat reluctant to ask the same guy again.

Try StephenG from the UK forums. Do a search you'll find some GBs he hosted in the past on this.

Grifter_MP5, what do you mean, you beg to differ? Your pic shows exactly what Mistrimeat said "The only part of the jdm dash that will fit is the top section. The only part that's not USDM in your pic is the top piece and the headunit surround, who are you contradicting? The dealer Speedfreak's buddy talked to in Japan is right.

If you read what I posted you would see that I quoted the newbie and I was saying that his friend was wrong. It doesn't face the right side of the car it faces center.
