Greetings everyone,

I am currently on the hunt for a used car, and I stumbled upon a 2014 Dodge Charger that caught my eye. However, The car has a 3.6L V6 DOHC 24V engine and the asking price is $11,500. I am a bit hesitant to go through with the purchase since the car has a salvage title. I was hoping to get some input and guidance from the community on whether or not it is a wise decision to take the risk. Here are the details of the car: Although the price for the year and model seems reasonable, the salvage title is causing some concern.

I am worried about the potential issues that could arise from owning a car with a salvage title, including safety concerns, difficulties with obtaining insurance, and challenges with selling the car in the future. I would appreciate it if anyone in the community has any experience with purchasing a car with a salvage title and could offer some advice on what risks and drawbacks I should be aware of. Is it worth going for the lower price tag, or should I consider spending more money to purchase a car with a clean title? Any feedback or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance!

I think you should probably not be looking at cars with salvage titles if you're asking the same questions as you did about the truck.

I got bored, def 'crack pipe' price on that thing. Sold for like $4k at CoPart auction. Damage doesn't look that bad in the pictures but to be totalled out at 74K miles it's either a completely worthless car or there was damage to the rear suspension subframe or the vehicle frame.
