I'm sure all the members on this forum can agree that Andrew, username Lowcarbonblue, is a respected member of this community. He has successfully bought and sold numerous car parts without any trouble with all of his buyers satisfied with both the business transaction and the parts they bought from him. I, too, was a satisfied buyer when I bought a Sirius radio from him in November of 2005, and this is where our friendship began. After trying to solve this particular issue peacefully, I am disappointed in his actions that eventually leads me to writing a bad feedback for a awesome buyer/seller and friend that I once saw him as. Well, here goes.

Around this same time last year, Caleb (Speed4TheNeed) and I were able to obtain the rights to all the parts of a '04 GT which we sold the parts to. We both agreed that we would keep the parts we wanted and sell the leftovers for profit. Even before the official for sale thread was made for the parts leftover on the '04 GT, I told Andrew about this matter and he asked if he could get the glass moonroof since he had a '02 that came with the plexiglass. In exchange for such a huge favor since it's hard to obtain a glass moonroof, he would sell me a Buddy Club 2 kit for cheap. Soon after, Andrew decided he also wanted the headlights off the '04 GT because they were in good condition and he wanted a spare set so so he can put on Bluebatmobile's vinyl for shows and keep his painted headlights for daily use. In exchange for the headlights, he would give me an additional $175 off the total price of the kit I wanted, making $225 total. After telling Caleb about the deal I had with Andrew, Caleb okayed it and he shipped Andrew both the headlights and glass moonroof.

Long story short, Andrew was unable to obtain the Buddy Club 2 kit he promised me, so I couldn't buy it from him. Knowing that he still owed me $225, he asked me if I wanted a set of speakers for the Celica. I told him I would take it in exchange for the $225. Instead of receiving the speakers in exchange for the $225 he owes me, he sold the speakers to a local 350z owner. After asking him why he sold them after telling him I wanted them, he said he didn't know I wanted them so he sold them.

Feeling bad about the speakers issue, he asked me if I wanted dibs on a triple gauge pod he was about to sell. He said if I wanted them, he would just subtract it from the $225 he owed me. I told him I wanted the gaugepod, but he later sold it to a local Celica member. After asking him why he sold them after telling him I wanted them, he said he didn't know I wanted them for sure so he sold it.

Not long after, I saw that he was selling the carbon fiber cargo cover he received free from Topshop since he was selected to be sponsored by them. After telling him I would take the carbon fiber cargo cover and even ship my oem cargo cover to him, I was shocked to see a thread in the for sale section he created with a link to an ebay auction where he was selling the carbon fiber cargo cover. After confronting him, he once again told me he did not know I wanted that part, so he was selling it.

After this ordeal, a long time passed with Andrew having family issues, his NSX being stolen, and him moving to North Carolina. After finding out his family had financial problems, I was kind enough to reduce the total amount he owed me to only $100 since he told me he wanted to give his family some money to help them with the financial problems. After he moved to North Carolina, I was unble to speak with him since he had no internet access. About four months ago, after seeing him randomly post every now and then, I PMed him asking for the money he owed me since it seems he has no more parts he can sell me. I even attempted to contact him on AIM but he would never respond to any of my IMs. I would continue to see him post randomly here and there, so I would PM him hoping he would reply back. I would also IM him every now and then when I see him sign on AIM and even leave him messages. After getting tired of trying to contact him hoping he would reply, I gave up on ever getting payed for the parts I sent him.

About a week ago, I started to see Andrew actively post on the forums once again. After being frustrated of not being replied to once, I PMed him telling him I would make a bad review thread about him on Newcelica.org if I don't receive payment for the parts I sent him about a year ago. Finally, he IMed me back telling me he haven't had internet access and that he just got back in Las Vegas because his dad got in a big accident. Well, this was how our conversation went:

I sent him an e-mail, IMed him, and even PMed him my paypal address just incase he miracously didn't receive any of them, but he did not respond to me or send me the money. Well, I decided to PM him one last time hoping he would respond. This is a copy of our conversation through PM:

Hey, happen to see you were on the forum and posting. Once again, you're not replying to any of my PMs or e-mail, so it's safe to say you're not going to pay me. I just wanted to let you know after finishing this PM I will start creating a thread about you in the feedback section. You're more than welcome to post your side of the story once the thread is up. I'll be on Newcelica for awhile since there's alot to type on this matter, so feel free to PM me or IM me on AIM. All I'm looking for is a response from you and an approximate date when you can pay me instead of you constantly ignoring me. Hopefully by creating a thread, you will bring this matter to your attention. I'm kinda disappointed it has to come to this.

How am I rude? You're the one simply ignoring my PMs, e-mail, and IMs. All I ask for is the money you owe me for the parts you have already received. Why not just pay me so we can put this ordeal behind us? You specifically stated money is not an issue to you and you even posted you have some extra money to spend on g-games and sparco seats. If you wish for this debt to go away, send me the glass moonroof and a set of good condition headlights. If you cannot send me these parts, pay me the money you owe me. It's as simple as that.

How about to go back to your saved IMs and see how nice i was acting. like you stated above, i told you ok and that money was an issue and then you kept rambling on and on. i'm not going ot keep talking to someone that is rude to me and won't believe anything i say. I was only hoping to end this issue peacefully, but Andrew refuse to pay me for the parts I have already sent him a year ago. Andrew was always known as a good and fair seller, which is why it is dissappointing this issue have to end the way it did.

^^^ Damm I read all of it too. I call relate to the buyer as much as I don't want to get involved. I hope you both work things out. Not trying to get involved but I have one circumstance where I let a former friend borrow some money and the amount was who really needed help his name is David C. Nguyen from Team Hybrid his check bounced and 1 did not take him to court in time lost $1,000. I hate him for what he did. He's as crooked as it gets. But I'll cut this short and let you know. From that experience I had you two need to work it out a.s.a.p.

When it comes to money and friendship never let your "friends" borrow a penny you can screw up the friendship. I went through calling him numerous times the day after the 1st month his check has bounce, went to his apartment in Tustin where he lived with 4-5 other people, brought him to my house and confronted him privately and it was not to harass him, I made him write a written statement signed for my protection and showed him his dirty check, and after feeling "bad" I would tell him I'll give you 3 months to make the full payment. At work we both work together so I told him to meet me up in the restroom. Harassed him there for cash out of his wallet I'll take anything you have even a penny. He opened up his wallet and to my surprise $100.00 bill. $hit I took that without his permission that really pissed me off. Then I told him who carries this amount of cash just to work??? Crooked ass bitch.

So I went to get papers to take him to small claims by this time he had changed his number, moved, and I couldn't find him. What sucks was I see him at car shows one time I told him if I don't get my money I will start taking car parts of your wide body MR2. From then on I couldn't track him and the nerve of the guy to ignore me.

I let it go it's my lesson learned and his a$$ so you two need to do something or nothing will happen.

Normally, the seller is liable for a sale until the sale is closed so if the buyer feels it's getting to late. Bring on the legal action without it you'll be just like me $hit out of luck and remember taking someone to court in CA you are only allowed a certain time before the case never goes. File a claim with all the transactions, response, or receipt which ever works for you. If you have a bigger amount you have to go to a higher court.

It may be different for your state but this goes for the rest of bad sellers not just this thread. I just posted here because it can relate to me in some ways.

It's hard to believe who's who on the Internet nowadays. The truth can go far beyond what is told and is easily manipulated. If you guys are truly friends fix the problem between you two now and do your best not to get it out in the public once it's loose in public your rep or whatever is gone no matter how good of a person you both are. It only takes one small situation to ruin it all. Example I had a friend who is a power seller on eBay sold over 2000 items on eBay practically lives off eBay few people who randomly negative feedback him for no reason and he has to petition them off or not show him feedback. Ruins his life because he lives off feedback. It's the small things in life that hurt the most remember that.

All I can say is don't let money get in between a friendship. Good luck and hope it doesn't go to far.

as much as i hate to say it..now a days you really cant trust anyone. this is why i never let friends "borrow" money because they figure we're gonna be friends for a long time so whether or not i get you the money now or 5 years from now it shouldnt matter because we're friends. i really hope you get this problem solved because it would really suck if you had to end a friendship over money. but then again i think its pretty sketchy how he knew you wanted all of those parts but yet he "didnt know you wanted them". i honestly think he needs to get his priorities straight.

I dont believe he ever had one....He may have showed a pic or two but that doesnt mean a thing. I can go down the road a get a pic of a r33 and saleen s7 and call them my own. And he said he gave his car (celica) to his girlfriend... But yet I still seeing him buy parts and selling celica parts. For all I know, the headlights and glass moonroof are still on his car right now. He even posted saying that he has extra money layering around to buy new car parts. wow that sucks. I have personally lost over $500 from this site. When you owe someone money (whether you have personal problems or not) you need to give it up asap. He sold his car to his gf and was suppose to get a Z but got an old and used nsx for the same price. his parents called my parents and told us about it because he was moving back and we had a party for him. It got stolen (which i don't doubt in Las vegas) and basically he came back with nothing besides his money.

He doesn't have a computer over here because he lives in the country side of NC which doens't have cable and he doens't have a home phone for dsl. He uses his cell phone. He has been using his money for housing. He's my friend and all but i wouldn't lie about this. Can't the moderator of this site check IP numbers and see where he's posts were coming from? But if you want me to talk to him when he gets back here to NC, i can do that.

Wow, I can't beleive Andrew is doing this to you, Mong. Honestly I would have never guessed it. I also had no idea you were still dealing with him over that, that was a pretty long time ago and I THOUGHT that it was dealt with (even though I knew you didn't get the buddy club 2 kit, I had assumed you guys worked something else out).

But anyway, I can confirm for a fact that I sent him out both the headlights (that were in great condition) and the glass moon roof from the '04 GT Mong and I bought for parts. I prob even have positive feedback from this from Andrew. I got his semi-scratched moonroof back within a few days so as far as that's concerned it's all good.

I know, I was pretty stunned myself with the way he's been acting. I just can't believe it ended up like this, especially after having so much trust in him all this time.

On a side note, he did not even tell me or offer me the Buddy Club 2 kit he was selling off his car. By the time I knew about this and confronted him, he had already sold it to 140gt and like usual, he said something along the lines of how he was not aware I still wanted it, so of course, he sold it.
