Yes, it's possible and very easy. Remove the to screws that hold it to the intake. Unplug it from the wiring harness. Spray any type of Brake Cleaner into the inlet holes. (One hole has a wire with a red colored bulb, that's your temperature sensor. The other hole has two wires going across the hole, that's the air flow sensor. Usually, it's the air flow sensor side that is dirty.) Let it dry (about 30 seconds or so). Re-install. This fixed a funky idle problem I had after over oiling my K&N. I got the tip from a Toyota Lead Technician. - AB
